Ultra-wide angle lenses are really great but also difficult to get optimal composition. Just pretty small shift in positions and the picture changes dramatically. When we use these lenses it is important to go pretty close and find the right angle of view to achieve optimal image composition.
The rewards are deep and dynamic images. The great advantage of ultra-wide lenses is that each provides a huge depth of field. When shooting with a fish-eye, I always use a zonal focusing. Auto focus is turned off and focusing distance manually set at about 70 cm (2 ft).
