Białka river gorge Reserve is a place in southern Poland, where river meanders meet huge rock formations and overlook the majestic Tatra Mountains. The riverbed is surrounded by forests and interesting rock formations with three caves. Białka's gorge is popularly visited by the inhabitants of Podhale, it is the destination of weekend beaching by the river on hot days. Levoca is a town in the Presov Region of eastern Slovakia with a population of 14,700. The town has a historic centre with a well preserved town wall, a Gothic church with the highest wooden altar in the world, carved by Master Pavol of Levoca, and many other Renaissance buildings. The Važec military cemetery was completed in 1998 and approximately 6,500 German soldiers from the battlefields of eastern and central Slovakia have found their last resting place here. The graves of soldiers are decorated with granite crosses with carved inscriptions. It is the largest German military cemetery in Slovakia. The ruins of Spissky Hrad (Spis Castle) in eastern Slovakia form one of the largest castle sites in Central Europe. The castle is situated above the town of Spisske Podhradie and the village of Zehra, in the region known as Spis.
