Two of the victims were Slovaks, and one of them was Peter Sperka, whose parents and close relatives live in Presov. A small gathering was held in a little cafe, with the participation of Aleksandra Dzik from Krakow, Poland. She was a leader of another simultaneous expedition to Nanga Parbat and she met with Peter a few days before the incident. Alexandra showcased to audience impressive photo footage from the expeditions.
From time to time, from behind the glass door, peeped into the room a small girl on a scooter, curiously watching the inner audience. And at that moment I realized that it is a little angel, observing us from the backstage. For me, they were very pleasant and joyful moments that warmed serious ambiance.
